The Stone Roses – Sally Cinnamon (Indie Exclusive, White Vinyl)

Sally Cinnamon is acknowledged as the first release in the style which would come to be recognized as the Stone Roses’ trademark sound.

The Stone Roses are largely regarded not only as one of the greatest bands to emerge from the Britpop era of the 1990s, but also a crucial act in the musical legacy of Manchester, and central to the Madchester movement.

Vocalist Ian Brown, guitarist John Squire, bassist Mani and drummer Reni released the Stone Roses’ eponymous debut album in 1989 – to great critical success. ‘Sally Cinnamon’ predates that by two years, and was only the second single released by the band – but spent thirty-nine weeks in the charts.

This EP includes the 12″ single mix and two B-sides. This is the first time this new configuration has ever been released. Exclusive White heavy weight 180 gsm Vinyl. Half-speed mastered to the highest possible quality and DMM – Direct Metal Mastered with protective polypropylene inner bag.
