Wienerworld is delighted to announce the re-promotion of the stunning musical experience, to coincide with The Magic Of The Musicals nationwide tour, commencing 2nd October and running until 19th November 2007.
The Magic of the Musicals DVD (WNRD7028) brings together a selection of the finest and best-loved songs from the most successful West End musicals of all time including Les Miserables, Blood Brothers, Chess, A Chorus Line, Five Guys Named Moe, Follies, La Cage Aux Folles, A Little Night Music, Miss Saigon, Buddy, West Side Story and many more.
It features the most enchanting melodies from some of out best-loved songwriters, performed by the huge talents of stage show veterans Marti Webb and Mark Rattray.
Marti Webb has had a hugely successful career spanning decades. She has appeared in some of the most popular West End Musicals including Evita, Oliver and Stop The World I Want To Get Off and has toured with numerous productions including Cats, The King and I and Thoroughly Modern Milly. Her success was sealed with her part in the musical Tell Me On A Sunday, especially written for her by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Ron Black. She has also recorded nine solo albums, had numerous chart hits and recorded twenty-two specials for BBC television.Mark Rattray’s singing career burst onto the live musical stage following his win on BBC’s Opportunity Knocks. He has appeared in numerous productions and shows across the country earning him a reputation of one of the UK’s most versatile male stage vocalists.
