Damned – Live Live Live: Tiki Nightmare
The legendary London punk band The Damned, who released the first ever UK punk single, are captured here still going strong at this live recording at the Shepherds Bush Empire on July 31st 2002. The line-up features original members Dave Vanian and Captain Sensible as they rattle their way through such hits as “New Rose,” “Love Song,” “Neat Neat Neat” as well as a host of newer material.
The Damned were always at the cutting edge. They were the world’s first punk band to score a top ten hit with New Rose and since then, they have added some 15 hits to their cannon. There are brilliant extras to the DVD including specially shot interviews and home movies, behind-the-scenes footage from a chaotic US tour and even an appearance from a trained monkey on stage! Complete with total mayhem from the psychedelic punksters!
