Blind harp wizard Sonny Terry and legendary blues guitarist Brownie McGhee had a 35-yearlong partnership that helped define the 1960s folk/blues revival movement. Never before available 8-track performance recorded at the Ash Grove in Hollywood in 1973 with 2 bonus tracks from 1965. On the movie screen they appeared together in the Steve Martin’s movie “The Jerk”. Sonny was featured in Steven Spielberg’s “The Color Purple” and Brownie in “Angel Heart”.
