Professor Louie & The Crowmatix have travelled countless miles from gig to gig building a loyal fan base. The result is the honest output of that effort on Miles of Blues, their fifteenth studio recording on Woodstock Records. Key to their recordings and live shows is keyboardist Professor Louie and longtime songwriting partner & vocalist Miss Marie.
“On Miles of Blues you know you’re in Bluesland from the first notes of John Platania’s slide guitar on the kickoff track, L-50 Blues, to Percy Mayfield’s chestnut, Please Send Me Someone to Love, which rounds out the CD.”
– Cary Wolfson, producer and host of Blues from the Red Rooster Lounge
Miles Of Blues has a total of ten songs with eight originals penned by Professor Louie and Miss Marie with a unique cover song Orange Juice Blues by Richard Manuel of The Band. Tom Bones Malone (Blues Brothers) arranges & performs on Crowmatix original Oh My Lady. Miles Of Blues wraps up with an exciting live version of the Crowmatix song Bullfrog Jam Blues with The Woodstock Horns.
