Recorded in just three days back in early 1985, the album received universal praise 

For this edition, the album has been expanded to include five additional tracks, including very different demo versions of Hot Pink, Up on the Sun and Maiden’s Milk, plus the previously unreleased Embodiment of Evil

Also included is the original extended instrumental of Hot Pink 

Features a 12 page booklet with lyrics, pictures and liner notes by drummer Derrick Bostrom and journalists Scott Schinder, Steve Appleford (Daily Sundial) and Richard Grabel (New Musical Express)

The Meat Puppets started as a punk rock band but established their own unique style, blending punk with country and psychedelic rock, and featuring frontman Curt Kirkwood’s warbling vocals. They have influenced various rock bands such as Nirvana, Soundgarden, Dinosaur Jr, Sebadoh and Pavement.
