A Venue For The End Of The World
This documentary explores the dangers of idol worship and crowd manipulation through the eyes of veteran performers including Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull, legendary Santana drummer Michael Shrieve, iconic television personality Dick Cavett, and numerous others, including renowned documentarian and author D.A. Pennebaker.
Directed by Australian filmmaker Aidan Prewett and produced by Devil Blue Films, the film is a magnificent exploration of the power of stage presence, message, and how a captivated audience can sometimes go from a crowd of individual thinkers to a cult-like herd ready to heed a showman’s every word—good or bad, or in some cases, even turn against him altogether.
