Temptations- Live In Concert

The Temptations are an American vocal group that achieved fame as one of R&B’s most influential, revered bands, and helped define the Motown period. The group’s repertoire has included, at various times during its five-decade career, R&B, doo-wop, funk, disco, soul, and adult contemporary music. Known for its recognizable choreography, distinct harmonies, and flashy onstage suits, the Temptations have been said to be as influential to soul as The Beatles are to pop and rock. Having sold tens of millions of albums, the Temptations are one of the most successful groups in music history and were the definitive male vocal group of the 1960s. They continue to tour all over the world with its one living original member, Otis Williams, still in its lineup.

Temptations – Live in Concert opens with a short interview of the band reminiscing about their several decades of music influences and the concert features many of the classic songs which made them legendary, including “My Girl,” “Papa Was A Rollin’ Stone,” and “Get Ready.” Recorded at Harrah’s nightclub, Atlantic City, in 1983.
