Luciano Pavarotti – O Sole Mio

You don’t have to enjoy opera to appreciate the sheer talent and passion of the voice of Luciano Pavarotti. An Italian tenor, he crossed over into popular music and became one of the world’s most famous vocal performers. Together with Spaniards Plácido Domingo and José Carreras, he was also one of The Three Tenors and was well known for his televised concerts and media appearances. Famous for the intensity and beauty of his tone, he performed in opera houses around the world and was thought by many to be one of the greatest singers of the era.

Recorded at the Gran Theatre Del Liceu, Barcelona in 1989, this DVD also includes a prelude to the concert, as well as an interview after Pavarotti has performed. Enjoy a performance by a man whose every note tugs at the heartstrings.
