A mix of fourteen rare acoustic and electric tracks from the late country-rock pioneer, and member of legendary bands The Byrds and Kentucky Colonels.

The set includes tracks recorded both at the beginning and at the peak of his career, showcasing his critically acclaimed flat-picking guitar style. Features guest players such as Eric Weissberg, the Byrds’ Roger McGuinn, Gene Parsons, and Skip Battin, the Flying Burrito Brothers’ Byron Berline, and a rare rehearsal performance with the Everly Brothers with Gram Parsons on rhythm guitar.

White said of his guitar technique, “I always maintain that I’m an electric country guitarist working in rock, rather than a rock n’ roll guitarist like, say, Clapton or Beck, who came up through blues.” He may be best known as the second-longest member of The Byrds and leader of the Kentucky Colonels, but White also left his mark as a pioneer of country rock and his flat-picking guitar stylings; his ability to cross between acoustic and electric made him unique.

His session work included recordings with Linda Ronstadt, Joe Cocker, Randy Newman, Rick Nelson, Pat Boone, The Monkees, Arlo Guthrie, and Jackson Browne, among others.

Track Listing

Touring in support of their fifth studio album, ‘Airborne’, The Flying Burrito Brothers performed at The Bottom Line in NYC on August 18, 1976

This 12-track set features many of their classic tracks alongside a few country & Western standards. The group’s line up consisted of Skip Battin and Gene Parsons (both ex-The Byrds band members), along with Gib Guilbeau, Joel Scott Hill and original Burrito pedal steel legend, “Sneaky” Pete Kleinow. This live recording is previously unreleased.

1976 was a great year for The Flying Burrito Brothers, with them having the opportunity to travel throughout the USA celebrating the 200th anniversary of the founding of the United States. Though Gram Parsons wasn’t around anymore, Chris Hillman embarked on a solo career and Chris Ethridge had just departed the band, there were some great guys that just happened to be really familiar with the ‘Burrito’ mentality. It all came together quite spectacularly!

To begin, Gib Guilbeau was a Cajun guy par excellence. Gene Parsons, formerly of The Byrds, was he drummer from hell who lifted the excitement to the limit? (And picked a great banjo and string bender guitar). What can be said about Joel Scott Hill? A rebel? A reverent fanatic? A soulful, emotional artist? ALL of the above! Then there is Skip Battin, who just joined the band whom everyone loved and called friend, who provided very original bass and vocal support.

All these cuts are genuine items from a live performance at New York City’s legendary Bottom Line club with all the warts AND magical moments. No fix ups and no apologies. Just real music and true enthusiasm.

Earthy, familial alt-pop outfit Delta Rae skilfully juggle gospel-tinged country rock, sensual blue-eyed soul and harmony-laded Americana resulting in an infectious, radio-ready sound.

Formed in 2009 as a four-piece around the talents of siblings Ian, Eric and Brittany Hölljes along with Elizabeth Hopkins, the North Carolina-based band expanded to a sextet the following year with the additions of Mike McKee and Grant Emerson. In 2011 the group inked a deal with Sire/Warner Bros. after a particularly impressive in-office audition for Seymour Stein. The resulting ‘Carry the Fire’, their major label debut, arrived in 2012. ‘Carry the Fire’ reached #11 on the U.S. Heatseekers chart and #13 on the folk chart. Delta Rae released their second album, ‘After It All’, in the spring of 2015.

Following relocation to Nashville, the band signed with Big Machine in 2017 and issued a pair of EPs – ‘A Long And Happy Life’ and ‘The Blackbird Sessions’ – in quick succession. The front part of 2019 saw a spate of new singles, though in July of that year, Delta Rae announced their departure from Big Machine following a massive company buyout. Choosing to go independent, they quickly launched a massively successful crowd-funding campaign for their next release, a two-part double album called ‘The Light & The Dark’. The first volume, ‘The Light’, appeared in March 2020.

This electrifying concert film, ‘Coming Home To Carolina’ was filmed with fourteen 4K Ultra High Definition cameras before hometown fans in Raleigh, North Carolina, during their final shows one week before Christmas, from their highly successful 2019 sold out ‘Take Me There’ tour. It features some of the band’s biggest hits including ‘Take Me There’, ‘Down By The River’ and ‘Dance In The Graveyard’ interspersed with scenic performance scenes at Raleigh River alongside interview segments at the band’s home where they recorded most of their first album of songs, ending in a bonfire jam at the Local Watering Hole.

• 12 original recordings from the legendary Barbara Mandrell, spanning her career

• This Greatest Hits collection includes This Time I Almost Made It, Break My Mind and more

An American country music singer, musician, and actress, Barbara Mandrell is known for a series of top-10 hits and TV shows in the 1970s and 1980s that helped her become one of country’s most successful female vocalists of that period. She was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2009 and is a member of the Grand Ole Opry.

Mandrell’s first Billboard number-one hit was 1978’s “Sleeping Single in a Double Bed”, immediately followed by “(If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don’t Want to Be Right” in early 1979.

11 classic recordings from the legendary Freddy Fender

Includes his hits Before the Next Teardrop Falls, Wasted Days and Wasted Nights, You’ll Lose A Good Thing and more

Freddy Fender was an American Tejano, country and rock and roll musician, known for his work as a solo artist and in the groups Los Super Seven and the Texas Tornados. He is best known for his 1975 hits Before the Next Teardrop Falls and the subsequent remake of his own song Wasted Days and Wasted Nights.

While notable for his genre-crossing appeal, several of Fender’s hits featured verses or choruses in Spanish. Bilingual songs rarely hit the pop charts, often perceived as novelty hits, but Fender developed a track record of bi-lingual hits, expanding the rich culture of Tex-Mex (Texan-Mexican) music.

During the course of his career, Fender achieved five top-10 albums (his 1974 debut album Before the Next Teardrop Falls being certified Gold) and eight top-10 singles, two of those being certified Gold (Before The Next Teardrop Falls and Wasted Days and Wasted Nights). Fender also received three Grammy awards for “Best Mexican/Mexican-American Album” (1990) for the Texas Tornados, “Best Mexican/American Performance” (1999) for Los Super Seven and “Best Latin Pop” (2002) for La Musica de Baldemar Huerta.
